Environmental Emergency First Responder - Memphis, TN
“I have been an emergency first responder since 1988. I like Nature’s Broom because it helps solidify hydrocarbon products — it grabs and holds onto oil. When Nature’s Broom is used in industrial wastewater facilities for hydrocarbon removal, the system can be flushed and Nature’s Broom will go through the pumps. Clay will clog, ball-up and swell... basically, you will have made asphalt.
During a spill clean-up, an employee wanted to change his gloves because they were covered with hydrocarbons. I told him to put his gloves into Nature’s Broom. Nature’s Broom cleaned his gloves and he did not have to leave the dirty zone — that saved man-hours.
I'd have to use 4 to 5 bags of clay, compared to 1 bag of Nature’s Broom. I'll choose Nature’s Broom every time. It does a better job and is cheaper for the company.
When I submit the Nature’s Broom MSDS sheet to landfill operators, they like it better than clay and absorbent mats (pads). Nature’s Broom helps landfills do their job better, because it bioremediates the hydrocarbons.”
